Imagine growing up and playing ball with kids named Rusty Kuntz and Lucious Pusey. Those and more on the Most Hilarious Names in Sports list.

The latest rankings from Best Nickname in Sports have The Hick From French Lick trailing Mr. October and Air Jordan.

There’s a new list underway at Funniest Alternative Athlete Nicknames. The idea is to make up a funny but deserved nickname for an athlete—probably one that you don’t like. Only one contender at the moment: Penus Williams. A little weak, but this one’s got potential.

Got an idea for a sports list involving names? Create one.
